I AM TIRED, THE PROBLEMS ARE TOO MUCH!

I AM TIRED, THE PROBLEMS ARE TOO MUCH!

22 Bible verses about Heavy Burdens

Are you truly a believer in YAHSHUA MESSIAH?

Do you sometimes think you are wasting your time in faith?

Are you sometimes discouraged and disillusioned on issues of life?

DO NOT DISPAIR!

YOU WILL OVERCOME IF YOU WALK WITH YAHSHUA HAMASHIACH.

FEED ON THE WORD DAILY

The entire Book of the Covenant [BOC] is given us to learn YAHWEH’s Way, feed on it, and to follow His instructions [Law].  To master His instructions is the easiest way to overcome issues of life. His way is different from the Gentile way you are already used to.  The easiest way to learn who you are as Yisrayah [Israelite] is to understand your HISTORY, which the Book of the Covenant (Bible) provides.  Carefully learn what HE instructs as you prayerfully read His Word daily.  Next, check if our ancient fathers of old and biological fathers followed HIS instructions. If they did, what was the outcome? If they didn’t, what was the outcome?  Learn what YAH ask you to be doing now to overcome the sins the fathers of old committed.  Learning from the failures of our fathers will give us clues to succeed.  It’s SIN (breaking of YHWH’s Law) that separates us from the love of the FATHER.  It’s SIN that causes distraction, discouragement, and disillusion in the life of mankind.  In many instances, those who are called and have great enthusiasm for following YAHSHUA MESSIAH and doing HIS WILL often fall away, particularly when confronted with issues of life.  Such issues of life may be marital, academic, jobs, financial,  sickness, health issues of diverse nature.  If you return to your Creator, YAHWEH, and seek His face, He will surely deal with your case, no matter how terrible it may be.  Remember He says, “I will HELP you” (Is. 41:10). He equally promised He will take care of your diseases (Ps. 103:3; Ex. 15:26; Deut. 7:15).  Notice, YAHWEH intervenes if He finds His WORD in us. If one does not feed on the WORD, there is no way help from Him will come.  The Holy Spirit thrives in the WORD that resides in a believer.  We need to eat and drink from the WORD daily (Jn. 6:54-56), and remain grateful to YAH that called us.

IDENTIFY PROBLEMS AND TACKLE THEM IMMEDIATELY

In other instances, people are disillusioned when told the bitter truth of the salvation journey.  At times they get offended, particularly if sins are pointed out.  At times, it could be that the WORD is encouraging them to return to obedience and live a faithful life.  Most people, when told the truth, their LOVE for YAH begins to wear out; they begin to complain and give excuses; they begin to slow down in reading the WORD of YAH, and gradually but steadily they reduce to listening to salvation messages.  The next stage will be blaming others for their failures; and soon, they start to give excuses for not attending Shabbat and Feast Services.  Before long, they withdraw from assembly and disappear into the world.   YAH’s Word says: ‘he that endures to the end, shall be saved.’  Problems of life are normal, owing to human failures.  YAHSHUA, who had no sin,  passed through problems of life, yet He did not sin.  YAHSHUA encourages believers to overcome every militating problem, and to ‘strive to enter into the Kingdom.’  Striving to enter the Kingdom is an everyday affair whereby one needs not be discouraged because of issues of life.  Try to discover the source of the problem and prayerfully deal with it immediately.  Determine that nothing will stop you from the love of your FATHER, who stands for you and encourages you to overcome.

ENDURE TO OVERCOME DISCOURAGEMENT

Our study of the history of Yisrayah thus far reveals how quickly and easily the people of YAHWEH were discouraged so that they gave up trusting HIM and doing HIS good works, yet they found time to indulge in the Gentile works and their self-giving jobs.  I find it quite disturbing how people lose faith in HIM (yet think they love Him) and lack endurance and perseverance in HIS Kingdom work.  Doing the good works of our FATHER is a priority. Standing on HIS WORD always is the key.  I acknowledge that the enemy of our souls – Satan and his agents – will always make it impossible for believers to continue the race.  I also understand that sometimes one may be ‘low’ and uncertain owing to circumstances beyond his/her control, but the Scriptures teach us the way out of such situations.  So, ‘we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not give up’ (Galatians 6:9).  To obtain YAHWEH’s RIGHTEOUSNESS and enter the KINGDOM is our common goal.  Anyone who will obtain eternal life must endure difficulties and problems of life.  The individual must overcome trials, afflictions, and temptations which easily besiege us and militate against our kingdom journey.  Knowing these things, we must devise means to endure and overcome them; we must do everything through YAHSHUA to overcome discouragement and all the missiles that are thrown at us.  Always pursue what is right because we are created as sons and daughters of righteousness.

“But you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary in doing what is right” (2 Thessalonians 3:13).

“Think of HIM who endured such opposition against Himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up” (Hebrews 12:3).

DISCOVER YOUR ENEMY

I have seen it happen time and time again. A person comes to faith in YAHSHUA MESSIAH, and in those early days, he or she overflows with joy and zeal for YAH. At first, they cannot help but read their Book of Covenant (Bible) and share their faith. Then perhaps a little opposition or rejection comes their way, or perhaps they are disappointed by another believer, or by their Assembly, or perhaps they think YAH fails to bless them in the way and within the time frame they expected; before one realises it, they begin to withdraw and lose faith. Often such individuals become more and more self-absorbed, less and less active in the things of YAH. They talk about the “good old days” and grumble about the present.  They criticise whatever comes their way.  They become disillusioned and bitter. They begin to lack endurance and confidence.  Do you know that Satan uses discouragement to weaken one’s faith?  Satan discourages people through their fellow mankind (e.g. family members, fellow assembly members, neighbours, friends, colleagues, peers, associates, etc).  He can use anyone or anything.  The first thing every believer does is to discover His Creator, YAHWEH, and the enemy – Satan.  Having discovered your enemy, and understood how to overcome him, your battle is won. Our winning armour is in the WORD of YAHWEH through YAHSHUA our SAVIOUR, whose promise to HELP us to overcome is sure. All we need to do is to have His Word handy and to call on Him always, as we resist the enemy through the WORD and the Name of YAHSHUA.

To become disenchanted or disillusioned is not the answer; rather, it’s the gateway to fall away.  Fallen away from faith is a gradual process that our enemy plants in our thinking and wishes.  Our enemy continues to cause us to see reasons why we must not continue in the LOVE of the MESSIYAH YAHSHUA.  Before long, Satan quickens us to reject the good works of the FATHER. Each time YAH noticed Yisrayah was becoming ‘low’ or afraid of the surrounding enemies, HE would remind them to reflect on HIS wonderful deeds in Egypt.  HE encourages them never to lose hope or fear because HE is always with them.   The enemy plants fear in someone to pull him or her down.  As soon as the person falls away, Satan rejoices and will do everything in his power never to allow the fallen individual to return to MESSIYAH YAHSHUA again.  Even in the state of fall, Satan would continue to comfort the individual that he/she is still waxing strong in the faith.  That’s a lie!  Therefore, watch and pray always for the SPIRIT’s strengthening.  Read your Book of Covenant daily.  Let praises and Songs not depart from you.  Remain cheerful always.  Even when it’s hard to rejoice, interact with your fellow beloved brethren and confide in them for righteous advice.  Ultimately, you can speak to your pastor for a way forward.  Do everything to avoid regression and distraction of the devil.

YAHWEH HAS HIS WORD FOR US

“So do not throw away your confidence, because it has great reward.  For you need endurance to do YAH’s will and so receive what is promised.  For just a little longer and HE [YAHSHUA] who is coming will arrive and not delay” (Hebrews 10:35-37).

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us” (Hebrews 12:1).

“Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything.  But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask YAH, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him” (James 1:3-5).

“Let me ask you very honestly, my friend, have you lost your first love? Then you need to repent and return to your former works: But I have this against you: you have departed from your first love!  Therefore, remember from what high state you have fallen and repent! Do the deeds you did at the first [RETRIEVE YOUR LOVE FOR YAH]; if not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place — that is, if you do not repent” (Revelation 2:4-5).

PRAYER: May ABBA YAHWEH give us a fresh supply of love and good deeds.  May we practice  RIGHTEOUSNESS OF YAHWEH and continue to endure as we trust HIM in all things.  At the same time, may we learn HIS KINGDOM Way which leads to eternal life.  May we not become self-absorbed and self-indulgent.  May we be faithful to our calling, and obedient to His commands.  May we return with a fresh commitment to the work HE has given us to do.  May every spirit of FALL depart from our hearts and minds, in YAHSHUA’s Name, Amein.
